Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathi Jagathguru Pujyasri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Sankaracharya Swamigal will observe Sri Shobakrith Samvathasara Chathurmasya Vratham from July 06, 2023 to Sep. 29, 2023 at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam – Kashi Branch, Hanuman ghat, Varanasi.
During chaturmasyam, sanyasis do not travel and stay in one place performing special vratams, anushtanams and vyasa pooja. It is a tradition for shishyas to offer bhikshavandanam during chaturmasya kalam to sanyasis.
